Terms of Service
Last updated 8 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Tshova app and services. By creating an account or using Tshova you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
1. What Tshova is
Tshova is a technology platform that connects riders who want a trip with independent drivers willing to provide it. Riders propose a fare; drivers choose whether to accept or offer their own price. Tshova is not a transport operator and does not employ drivers — drivers are independent providers responsible for their own vehicles and conduct.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your phone and login secure.
- Drivers must complete verification and keep a valid licence, roadworthy vehicle, and any required permits.
3. Fares, offers & payment
- Riders name a fare; the agreed price is the one shown and accepted before the trip begins. Intercity trips may be private (whole car) or shared per seat.
- Payment is made from your Tshova wallet. You are responsible for topping up and for the fares of trips you take.
- Tshova charges drivers a service commission on completed trips. Fares, promotions, and commission may change; current values are shown in the app.
- Wallet balances are held to complete your trips and are non-transferable.
4. Cancellations & conduct
- You may cancel before a trip starts; repeated late cancellations may affect your account.
- Treat drivers and riders with respect. Harassment, fraud, unsafe behaviour, or misuse of the SOS and safety features is prohibited and may lead to suspension.
- Do not use Tshova for anything unlawful.
5. Safety
Tshova provides safety tools including live trip sharing, emergency contacts, and an SOS button. These assist but do not replace emergency services — in a genuine emergency, contact the police or emergency services directly.
6. Ratings & verification
Riders and drivers rate each other after trips. Ratings and verification help keep the community trustworthy. We may limit or remove accounts that fall below our standards.
7. Service availability
We work to keep Tshova reliable but provide it "as is". We do not guarantee that a driver will always be available, that the app will be uninterrupted, or that every trip will be error-free.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Tshova is not liable for the acts or omissions of drivers or riders, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Suspension & termination
You may stop using Tshova and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put others at risk.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
